Woke to another day of rain.\u00a0 The ceiling light in our room had blinked on every twelve seconds all night long.\u00a0 Some great Guatemalan wiring!\u00a0 The shower in the bath had an on-demand heater installed at the shower head, with wires connected inside the shower enclosure, so whenever you stood under it you wondered if you were about to be electrocuted!<\/p>\n
Huevos rancheros for breakfast, then back up the hill to the Tikal site.\u00a0 Fantastic is all\u00a0I can say.\u00a0 An incredible Mayan site.<\/p>\n

Back to tiny El Cruce (El Remate) and cruised the lakeshore and nearby bio-reserve.\u00a0 Very beautiful here.\u00a0Dinner of hamburgers and french-fries\u00a0and beer, with candy bars for dessert!\u00a0 Tried to get some blogging done, but the internet connectivity sucked.\u00a0 Levi found a couple of young folks to go off with, and I settled on the porch of our ‘hotel’\u00a0and read my book.<\/p>\n
